About the director

I was born in Lima-Peru, youngest of two daughters. My parents choose to venture to the United States for a better future. I grew up in New York City where I resided for 22 years where I completed my elementary education and obtained my bachelors degree in science. I decided to relocate to Miami, Florida when I was accepted to University of Miami where I completed my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and obtained licensure shortly after.

Through my pursuit of further education I also obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

My ignited fire for obtaining experience in the mental health field allowed me to work in some of the most prestigious Mental Health Community Centers in South Florida ranging from positions as a case management, group counselor and therapist. This experience led me to various supervisory positions and finally becoming the Director of Elite Leadership Military Academy. This position allows me to utilize all my degrees obtained, but more importantly it allows me to view and see blossom on a daily basis the difference made in the lives of youth at risk and their families.
