JAM Youth Connection, Inc.

History:

JAM Youth Connection, Inc. (JAM) is a not for profit 501(c) (3) community based organization formed in 1994. The board of directors is a group of concerned grass root community leaders dedicated to the empowerment and rehabilitation of youth and their families.

Philosophy:

Our youth are destroyed due to lack of knowledge. Knowledge is power and applied knowledge equates empowerment. Youth who gain personal power trust themselves to make good decisions and choices.

Mission Statement:

The mission of JAM Youth Connection, Inc. (JAM) is to establish and implement innovative educational, disciplinary and support services for youth and involved family members.

Purpose:

The purpose of JAM Youth Connection is to help our target population obtain the tools necessary to make healthier decisions and improve the overall quality of their lives. This organization is designed to empower youth to have a healthy sense of their own self-worth. Personal empowerment and self-worth enable them to become self-sufficient, positive, and productive citizens.
